Once in Uganda, remember to drive on the left.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"126\" data-end=\"228\"><strong>Route overview<br \/><\/strong>Break your journey into steps when using Google Maps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"249\">First, plot the Cyanika border<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"249\">Then&nbsp;Kisoro town<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"249\">Finally, your end destination (Lake Mutanda or Bwindi)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"475\">This avoids being sent down slower, rougher shortcuts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"642\">From Kisoro, the road to Lake Mutanda winds through the Kigezi Highlands on an adventurous dirt road.
