Where to stay in the Masai Mara – accommodation tips
The Masai Mara is a world-renowned safari park. The Reserve consists of three large sections and several smaller private conservancies. For a better understanding of how the Masai Mara ”works”, you might want to check our Masai Mara Travel Blog.
Safari trips in the Mara are not easy on your wallet. There are no lodges available in the budget price segment in the Mara Reserve and its Conservancies unless you go camping. If you want to save on hotel costs, you might want to consider staying in a lodge outside the park boundaries, but make sure its not located in a protected area where also conservancies fees apply.
