Mikumi accommodation tips
Mikumi National Park is located in southern Tanzania. Mikumi protects a classic African savannah landscape with large herds of zebra, wildebeest, impala and buffalo, and to a lesser extend lion, giraffe and elephant. The centre of action tends to be around the Mkata River floodplain northwest of the main road. The park’s landscape features the Uluguru Mountains in the east and the Rubeho Mountains in the west, providing a scenic backdrop for wildlife sightings.
