Morogoro accommodation tips
Morogoro is a pleasant, orderly town located in eastern Tanzania, at the base of the Uluguru Mountains. Wander around town and its markets, or do a stroll / hike up to the little visited Uluguru Mountains. The New Acropole Hotel is a quirky place to have a drink or dinner. It’s a former sisal estate manager’s house built in the 1940s and filled with antiques and curios from Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania. Mbuyuni Farm Retreat is a particularly nice place to stay for a country cottage experience.
